Whitefield Community Primary School

Nursery

At Whitefield, we have a 30 place Nursery available to offer quality play and learning experiences for the children we serve. Our Nursery is a lively, engaging hub of learning where we attempt to ignite curiosity, awe and wonder for the world and interest in learning and education from the very start, as well as supporting our families with a flexible approach to their childcare needs.

All 3 to 4-year-olds in England can get 570 free hours per year. It's usually taken as 15 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year, but you can choose to take fewer hours over more weeks, for example. Some 3 to 4-year-olds are eligible for 30 hours free childcare a week. Check if you're eligible and find out how to apply at: https://www.gov.uk/help-with-childcare-costs/free-childcare-and-education-for-2-to-4-year-olds

We are able to offer you and your child:

  • 15 hours
  • 30 hours
  • These hours can be used flexibly to suit your needs for example, 15 hours split equally across every morning or two full days and a half day elsewhere
  • Discussion around how you would like your hours to be spread across the week to accommodate your needs

We currently have spaces available, if you require additional information around our Nursery offer, or you would like an informal tour of incredible school - please contact the school office.
