Primary School

Welcome

Welcome to Whitefield Community Primary School

On behalf of the Pupils, Staff and Governors I would like to welcome  you  Whitefield Community Primary School.

Whitefield Primary School sits in the heart of community and has  approximately  180 pupils on role. We are a small, caring and family  orientated school which  strives to offer the very highest standards  in education. The school serves a  richly diverse community which we  believe not only makes our school unique to  others but also enables  us to enrich the lives of the children that attend.

Our door is always open and we are always willing to accommodate  visitors to  our special school.

The adults at the school ensure that the school provides a caring,  carefully  structured learning environment which allow our children to  flourish. We offer  the very highest standards in education while also  ensuring that our children  develop a sense of adventure and wonder.

We are enormously proud of our Forest School which allows our  children to  develop their learning outside of the classroom. We  believe that this is a  fundamental part of supporting children in  developing them as resilient,  confident, independent and creative  learners

An integral part of school is our relationship with parents. We work  closely  together to ensure that any concerns are taken seriously and  dealt with swiftly.  We operate an open door policy and parents are  encouraged to raise any  concerns or worries at a mutual convenient  time.

I am extremely honoured to be the Headteacher of this fantastic  school. Why?  Because I am fortunate enough to come to work each  day with fantastically  talented children, hardworking staff with  supportive governors and parents.

You will find lots of useful information about the school on this  website which  we hope will give you a feel of our fabulous school.

 Mr M Van Hecke
