Drop-off and collection

At the beginning and end of the school day, parents are encouraged into the playground. This helps to build up a close relationship between home and school – we want to have good links with all parents and carers. If normal arrangements have to be altered (e.g. You are delayed or another person is collecting your child), please let us know via informing the school office. This avoids any confusion or upset. All messages regarding changes should be sent directly via the main school office on 0161 766 2852.

Only children in year 5 or 6, with written permission from a parent/carer are able to walk to and from school unaccompanied.

Class Dojo is not used other than to share information, during normal periods of operation. Class teachers will not reply to or see messages you send them.

Getting to school

To get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option, we are proud to be partners with Walk for Our World! There are lots of benefits: it’s healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations. Alternatively, we have bike-racks. If you do need to travel by car, please park wisely and with careful consideration and respect of the school community.

The school car park is not open to parents and is for exclusive use of staff. Please speak to the Headteacher if you require access due to specific needs or circumstances, including disabled access.
